The Greater London Authority can:

assessing planning applications.

• planning applications with an impact on the wider community should be required to place proposals in the context of the locality, the district and the city as a whole, showing how a proposal contributes to the existing public realm and relates to the local environment.
• there should be closer integration between infrastructure, landscaping and urban development.
